Last call is a “musical made of blues”; original songs and classics from the blues repertoire which take the audience on a journey through emotional memories. Caffè Espresso music and dance on stage with 6 musicians and 6 gymnasts reveal through a playful mix of live musical acrobatics and virtuoso athletics, the fresh magic songs of Caffè Espresso, winners of the prize “SIAE 2004” fort he best musical project of the year, each story as a unique and unforgettable journey full of memories and emotions. The show is divided in 14 short stories which move between energetic, creative trios, quartets and solos. The idea of this show came from the music of Caffè Espresso, cocktail of blues, latin and rock with the flavour of the music of afro-american fathers, the sweetened by New Orleans atmosphere. From the coffee machine flows a magical alchemy: the rhythms of the marching bands of New Orleans are mixed with the cuban rhythms; flamenco and electric guitar all blended together. The expressive freedom of this music together with the body language and movement on stage. “The last call” takes the spectator back in time but above all emphasizes expectations and hope. It is the essence of each and every new beginning in which life is seen as a journey, experiences lived, their memories and emotions like a piece of language enriched with new knowledge and departure seen as a choice. BEST LIVE PERFORMANCES: “LAST CALL” has been represented in various theatres in Milan and neighbouring towns, on tour in Slovenia in 2005 and has participated in private events for Vichy, Citroen, Dercos, Sabre, Grand Hotel Principe di Savoia.
